A three week trip to Malaysia and Singapore culminated in an excellent dive trip with Borneo Divers on the island of Sipadan. Dives were also conducted at Palau Mamutik off of Kota Kinabalu. A special delight was the dive at Kapalai Reef a short boat ride from Sipidan. The waters around Sipadan Island are the most biodiverse in the world.  Bordering East Malaysia, the Sulu Sea is a biodiversity hotspot, with around 600 coral species and 1200 species of fish.
